We know you don’t brush your dogs’ and cats’ teeth.  We forget to brush our own dogs’ and cats’ teeth!  There are several products on the market that can be added to food or water and claim to reduce plaque and calculus, but this is the only one we have found that really works.

Dental plaque is made up of a community of microbes that have organized themselves into a complex and tenacious film – a biofilm.  Plaque-Off works systemically, disrupting the biofilm and reducing levels of plaque and calculus as well as improving breath odor.  We have our own animals on this product, and hundreds of our patients, and when used as directed it works well with no palatability issues.

Plaque-Off contains only specially selected seaweed, and is free from artificial colors, preservatives, gluten and sugar.  There are no known side effects, however, due to the rich iodine content of seaweed, we do not recommend this product for cats who are hyperthyroid.

A small (60g) container of Plaque-Off will last up to a year for a small dog or cat.  We have several sizes available for larger animals and multi-pet households.
