HARMONY ANIMAL WELLNESS believes in feeding your animal holistically. This means, in addition to feeding the most complete and highest quality food you can afford, also feeding according to your animal's true nutritional needs. Did you know that cats are obligate carnivores? That means they are physically designed to eat primarily meat! Does your cat food contain mostly meat? Most commercial foods do not. MARCH IS NATIONAL KIDNEY MONTH
It is especially important for older dogs and cats to have bloodwork done at least yearly, or every six months for elderly animals past the age of 10, to check liver and kidney function.  Diseases and chronic problems are easier to treat when they are caught early. If your dog or cat is 8 or older, call us to schedule a blood draw to check vital functions. For animals younger than age 8, you may want to schedule bloodwork to establish normal baseline values for future comparisons.
